The Transitions of Serum Cholesterol Values for the Past 6 years, of Normal Adults Living in Boryong Area

Abstract

|
In our conntry, many economic growth and variation of every day diets have resulted in increasing pattern of chronic diseases such as hypertention, coronary heart disease and various cardiovascular diseases.
This study was carried out the normal persons in Boryon-gun, Chungyan&-gun. and Shun,gun from 1980 to 1986 in order to identify the difference of serum cholesterol values between sex and vears.
The serum cholesterol determinations were performed by the method of Lied ann_Rnrchard reaction and enzyme-method.
The data were analyzed by .Le" -standard deviations and t-test.
The results are as table 1 and the distributions of cholesterol values are figure 1 to 9.
